Email support@runbysimple.com with the app name, your store domain, and a short description of what you expected to happen. Never include passwords or access tokens.
Surcharge setup
- Open Surcharge and create or select the product variant used for the add-on.
- Set your percentage and choose all products or tag-based eligibility.
- In the Checkout Editor, add the RunBySimple Surcharge app block above Payment.
- Save and test with an eligible product in the cart.
- Enable the cart cleanup app embed in the Theme Editor.
Checkout UI extensions on these steps require Shopify Plus. Avoid Order summary placement because it can be collapsed on mobile.
SafeGuard setup
Public installation is coming soon. The Shopify installation link is TBC.
If you already have development access, open SafeGuard in Shopify Admin and run a scan. Orders are not required. Use severity filters and product links to review findings, or export results as CSV. SafeGuard does not change store data.
Pro features include rule settings, automatic monitoring, and finding management. Email notifications are not included in this release. If a scan fails, note the displayed error and contact support.
Billing and privacy
Manage each app's plan through Shopify. For a privacy or deletion request, identify the relevant app and store. See our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Notification setup
Public installation is coming soon; the Shopify installation link is TBC. If you have development access, open Notification in Shopify Admin and select a plan. Enable storefront alerts, then open the Theme Editor, enable the Sales alerts app embed and save the theme.
Appearance and desktop/mobile positions are configured in the Theme Editor; purchase filters and Premium promotional alerts are configured in App Home. The editor displays a design sample, not a real purchase. If no eligible purchase data exists, the storefront may show no purchase alert. Analytics requires visitor permission, and attribution can be delayed or unavailable.
DemandFinder setup
Public installation is coming soon. If you have development access, open DemandFinder in Shopify Admin, enable its Theme App Extension in your published theme, and test a native Shopify search with no results after giving analytics consent. Submit a product request and confirm the signal appears in the demand inbox.
Use reporting windows, search and status filters, and CSV export to review demand. Third-party search apps may need compatibility checks. Include your theme name, search provider, consent state, and the failing step when contacting support.
