These terms govern your use of the RunBySimple website and Shopify apps, including RunBySimple: Surcharge, RunBySimple: SafeGuard, RunBySimple: Notification, and RunBySimple: DemandFinder. By installing or using an app, you agree to these terms and must have authority to act for the store.
RunBySimple: Surcharge
Surcharge lets eligible Shopify merchants configure optional checkout add-ons. Checkout functionality may require Shopify Plus. You are responsible for product configuration, customer-facing wording, consent, pricing, tax treatment, and compliance with laws governing fees, donations, and protection offers. Configuring an add-on does not itself provide insurance or a regulated financial service.
RunBySimple: SafeGuard
SafeGuard provides read-only checks of catalog prices and supported basic percentage discounts. Findings help merchants review potential mistakes; they are not guarantees that every issue will be detected or that a flagged price is incorrect. Merchants remain responsible for reviewing findings and making changes in Shopify.
Checks do not cover all Markets or B2B pricing, app-defined discounts, or checkout discount combinations. Scans may be delayed or fail because of platform limits, unavailable data, or service interruptions. SafeGuard does not automatically change prices, stop discounts, or prevent transactions. Email notifications are not included in the first release.
RunBySimple: Notification
Notification displays recent paid-order activity and merchant-authored promotional alerts. Merchants are responsible for storefront wording, privacy disclosures, and lawful use of notifications. Promotional alerts must not impersonate purchases or fabricate customer activity. Editor samples are design previews, not evidence of purchases. Analytics and attribution depend on visitor permission and available Shopify data and do not guarantee increased sales.
RunBySimple: DemandFinder
DemandFinder collects consent-aware zero-result native Shopify searches and explicit product requests, and provides a ranked merchant inbox. Signal counts are not unique shoppers, lost revenue, guaranteed sales, or a promise that shoppers will buy a requested product. Merchants remain responsible for consent configuration, privacy disclosures, and catalog decisions. Third-party search compatibility and public launch availability may vary.
Availability and subscriptions
A feature marked coming soon or an installation link marked TBC is not an offer of current public availability. App-specific prices, plan limits, billing intervals, and any trial terms are presented through Shopify before a merchant approves a paid subscription. Each RunBySimple app has separate plans; purchasing one does not include another.
Paid subscriptions are billed through Shopify. Manage plans and cancellation through the applicable Shopify controls. Cancellation affects future billing according to the approved subscription terms. Refund requests are assessed under applicable law, the subscription terms, and Shopify policies. No statement here removes a mandatory right to a refund or other remedy.
Acceptable use
You must not misuse the apps, bypass access controls or plan limits, interfere with operation, or use the services unlawfully or misleadingly. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to address misuse or security risks, subject to applicable law.
Service changes and limitations
We aim to provide reliable services but do not promise uninterrupted or error-free operation, specific financial results, or prevention of loss. Features may change to maintain compatibility, improve the apps, or meet legal requirements. Material pricing changes will be handled through Shopify and applicable notice or approval requirements.
Your legal rights
To the extent permitted by law, the services are provided as available, and RunBySimple is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights, guarantees, or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law guarantees.
